Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years! I’ve been swamped with work for the most part, making plans, taking on a few extra classes, getting sick… you know… the usual! I know it’s been quite some time since I’ve posted something to my blog, but I haven’t forgotten you all!
Dealing with kindergarteners and elementary kids all day takes so much energy, and while I usually can keep up with them, this past month has been a challenge. One class of 7-year-olds, in particular, just drove me up the wall. 32 students as a whole-group (usually the classes are split in half) is too much. Some students were fine, but others had the personalities that… well… I’ll just say they’ll be excellent leaders someday. I finished teaching those extra classes this week and hopefully things will settle down again.
Anyways, I’ll try to post more often when I have time and energy. Keep working hard and I hope your classrooms and schools are just as wonderful as they can be!
