This game is always a fun one to play with the kids!

JUST a wee ESL post this week!

IT’S that time of year again. The new school year is starting (or as started) over in the UK and the US, and over here in Korea we’re diving headway into Semester 2. After any long break, the students get a bit rusty over time, so I whipped up a holiday bingo ice-breaker activity to get our kids moving around and oiling the English most likely lodged away in their brains and forgotten over summer.

I ended up making two different versions, one for after winter vacation as well.

IT’S not a traditional “bingo” game in that the aim is to fill all the boxes, not get as many lines as possible – I add this disclaimer as my kids were most confused by this direction! Regardless, wherever you are and whatever you may be teaching, this is a pretty good activity which…
