I don’t know about you, but I love watching movies and TV shows. I’m a bit picky though about what I watch. Some of my favorite shows are Seinfeld, Westworld, Billions, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Arrested Development, and many others.

I was browsing the BusyTeacher website, and came across a short article about the top television shows for English Language Learners. I love incorporating visual media such as movies and TV into lessons whenever possible. The website lists ten shows that are great for ELLs of various ages and abilities.
It has family friendly shows such as Boy Meets World (a true classic) and Saved by the Bell (another classic), to more teen and adult-oriented programs such as Friends and Seinfeld. You can scour the episodes for topics and clips appropriate for the subject and age of your students.
