We love our apples in Wisconsin, and autumn here is almost synonymous with apples. We eat apples, we play games with apples, we give apples as gifts and we even incorporate apple expressions in our language. Maybe it would be faster to list what we DON’T do with apples here in Wisconsin! For that reason, this episode of Time Out with Rita is Apples in Autumn, a Wisconsin Delight.

Lisa Fabian-Albert, an ESL instructor at the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) joins us to discuss Wisconsinites’ love of apples and usage of apple idioms to reflect the importance of this fruit to the Wisconsin culture.
