A Message to Teachers from Students with Disabilities

I saw a heartwarming, and pertinent video on my Facebook feed the other day. It was by a page called ‘Upworthy’. It was a short  video that contains a message by students with disabilities, in their own words, about why they act that way, and how they still are paying attention, even though it may not look like it.

So, without further ado, here it is:

I watched it, and it really helped me reassess my own management skills, and take a closer look at a few of my students. Sadly here in South Korea, many children who may have learning disorders or special needs, often go undiagnosed and shoved into a classroom with no help. I try to provide assistance where and when I can, and push my students to try their best.

How does this video help you?
